Government approves a Rs 357 billion sop for Foxconn India’s PLI unit
An empowered committee led by NITI Aayog CEO Param Iyer has approved a production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme worth more than Rs 400 crore for Foxconn India and Padget Electronics to manufacture mobile phones. Hon Hai Foxconn Technology Group owns the iPhone manufacturer Foxconn India. The company is the leading producer and assembler of mobile Foxconn in the world and has its headquarters in Tucheng, New Taipei City.
For the period from August 1, 2021, to March 31, 2022, Hon Hai Technology India Mega Development Pvt. Ltd., better known as Foxconn India, would earn an incentive of Rs. 357.17 crore. It is based on its sales and incremental investments.
India plans $2 billion incentive for green hydrogen industry
Given that the Indian government is preparing a $2 billion incentive program, the green hydrogen industry is probably going to experience growth. Indians Travelled 4.5 Billion Km In Uber Cabs In 2022
The leading ride-hailing service Uber has published its annual analysis, according to which Indians travelled 4.5 billion km and spent 11 billion minutes in its cabs in 2022. Even while most Uber rides were scheduled between 5 and 6 p.m., the company found that Saturday was the busiest day of the week for cab bookings.
According to the company, Uber Go was the most widely used service in terms of trips, followed by Uber Auto.
The cities with the most Uber trips in 2022 are Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Kolkata.
